Refund policy

Thank you for shopping at Do Dolls Dream.

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Do Dolls Dream MAŁGORZATA KARWECKA, Plac gen. Józefa Hallera nr 5 lok. 14a, 03-464 Warszawa.

  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.

  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

  • Service refers to the Website.

  • Website refers to Do Dolls Dream, accessible from https://dodollsdream.com/

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

In-stock online store purchases

You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so.

The deadline for cancelling an Order is 14 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

Diminution of Value & Condition of Returned Goods
You are fully entitled to open the packaging and inspect the goods to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, just as you would in a physical retail store. However, you are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary.

If the returned items show signs of wear, damage, missing parts, or have been used more than necessary to inspect them, we reserve the right to reduce your refund amount. This reduction will correspond to the loss of the item's commercial value or the cost required to restore the product to a saleable condition (up to 100% of the purchase price if the item is rendered unsaleable).

In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Preorders

Preorders are Goods made to your specifications and clearly personalized.

The deadline for cancelling an Order is 14 days from the date on which You made your first preorder payment (be it deposit or full payment).

In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. The refund excludes the non refundable deposit You payed upon partaking in a doll preorder. Please note that both Layaway Payment option and Full Payment option include a non-refundable deposit part. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Once a Preorder purchase is confirmed and enters the production cycle, you do not have an automatic right to cancel the order, and we are under no legal obligation to accept cancellation requests.

Conditions for Returns

In-stock purchases

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days
  • The Goods are in the original packaging
  • The Goods were not used or damaged

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

Preorders

Preorders are Goods made to your specifications and clearly personalized and therefore are not eligible for returns.

Doll casting imperfections

The doll creation process involves a lot of steps that are processed by hand. This can lead to small surface imperfections which are considered normal and expected. These are not a basis for refunds or returns. Some of those include:

  • seam and parting lines; these are created during casting process in places where the mold is cut;
  • more rough surface that manifest as very small spots
  • smear marks, small scratches
  • discoloration in places where casting gates where removed and the surface sanded
  • single color shade differences between dolls cast in different batches (example: blue color on pre-order samples is slightly more saturated than on dolls from that preorder cast during later production)
  • some colors (especially aware of this when ordering darker colors) often come with a light dust layer that naturally comes off after use

We do our best to keep those to a minimum. Please note that some of those imprefections can be more visible on darker resin colors.

Resin color changes and improper doll storage

Dolls are made from polyurethane resin which reacts to UV light and heat. This is why keeping Your doll from any sources of UV light (direct or indirect) and heat is imporant. You accept that uneven and sudden resin color changes are a result of wrong doll storage. Some of these can also be a result of using chemicals that damage the resin. These are not a basis for refunds or returns.

Please note that some of those changes can be more visible on darker and tan resin colors.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods at the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.

Exchanges

If you need to exchange a product for the same one, contact us. Please note that We only replace Goods you received defective or damaged.

Gifts

If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, You'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to You.

If the Goods weren't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the Order shipped to themselves to give it to You later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.
